Job description

  • participation/collaboration in the implementation of the research program SL 4 Analysis of the impact of the transformation on education, human health and psychology in accordance with the needs of other members of the research team and partner workplaces
  • participation within the team in basic and oriented research, especially in joint interdisciplinary research in the field of social sciences and humanities
  • share in outputs in the form of analyses or scientific publications
  • participation in data collection for specific project outputs and assistance in completing them

Estimated amount of employment

  • 0.5 full-time

Qualification and other prerequisites

  • University education in a doctoral study program, field of pedagogy/psychology/sociology (Ph.D. degree or equivalent in the field of pedagogy/psychology/sociology)
  • at least 5 years of experience in research after obtaining a Ph.D.
  • publication activity in the given field (minimum 8 outputs in WoS/SCOPUS databases and/or two monographs)
  • H-index (WoS/Scopus) at least 2, or Scholar 3, or at least 25 documented citations of own works
  • experience in solving grant projects (documentable participation in basic/applied/contractual research projects) and/or implementation of foreign internships for a total duration of 3 months
  • knowledge of the English language, excellent communication skills comparable to level B2. Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
  • independent, responsible and creative approach to work
  • moral and civil integrity
  • the ability to collaborate on pedagogical, psychological and sociological aspects of the transformation of industry to education, human health and psyche

Estimated start date

  • February 1, 2024, or by agreement
  • employment relationship for a fixed period of max. 3 years

The first round of the selection procedure will take place without the personal presence of the applicants, with the evaluation of the submitted materials by the selection committee.

The dean of the faculty reserves the right to invite only selected applicants to a personal meeting and at the same time the right not to select any applicant. The dean of Faculty of Education UO can also cancel or repeat the selection process.
